The Under Armour Connected Fitness team, the world’s most integrated digital health suite of apps, devices, and apparel, needs a digital product analyst to join our team in our downtown Austin office.  The product analyst uses data science to guide development and measure the impact of new features and products within the digital app space.  The candidate will be part of the Product team that develops such apps as MyFitnessPal, MapMyFitness, and Endomondo.  The candidate will perform:
In depth analysis of product features, including User behavior analysis
A/B test result analysis
Segmentation/funnel studies
Statistical significance determination

Product success metrics development KPI and other product performance metric definition
Data source analysis and requirements definition
Algorithm optimization and automation
Reporting and visualization

Critical data analysis tasks Data anomaly detection and correction modeling
Transformation and manipulation scripting
Conversion of data into stories for broad audience consumption

Cross-team project support for Marketing, PR, and customer outreach
Executive Level Business Intelligence
User Research, Business Development, Customer Happiness, et al.

The best candidates will have experience with the following:
2 years+ in data analytics/data science
Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field (business, math/statistics/CS, hard or social sciences)
Solid SQL skills
Tableau visualization
Programming in a scripting environment (e.g. Python)
Dexterity with an advanced statistical package (e.g. R, SciPy)
Communicating data stories in written and verbal form to wide audiences of varying levels of sophistication
