SUMMARY:
The Seior Lead, HR Operations supporting Global Retail will be responsible for a portfolio of moderate to complex HR projects where operations, process and technology enablement knowledge is required.  This role will partner closely with the Sr. Director Global HR Operations and COEs  to consult, develop and/or implement solutions which solve business problems across our Global Retail Field organization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Partner with the COEs and Global Retail leadership to establish consistent retail HR operational standards and processes across all regions
•Assist with the roll out of new HR initiatives and projects for retail including but not limited to compensation strategy, talent acquisition strategy, performance management, talent management, and career development
•Develop and conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses (using internal data, external benchmarks and interviews), and using the findings to develop pragmatic, forward-looking recommendations.
•Partner with the Global Store Ops team to assist in scaling HR tools and resources to our global stores.
•Assists in maintaining and updating the Global HR Playbook and Retail Teammate Handbook supplements and addendums
•Monitor trends in the competitive market and ensure programs continue to align with best practices and support the attraction, motivation and retention of our teammates.
•Visit stores to participate in store audits and provide recommendations to resolve HR operational challenges.
•Respond to requests and participate in HR projects to improve overall efficiencies and best practices.
•Develops and maintains relationships with key stakeholders leaders (i.e.: HR COE’s, Global Store Operations, etc.)
•Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
•5+ years of progressively responsible experience in retail human resource management, especially in performance management, employee relations, and coaching with a Sales or Field Operations group
•Experience working in a global organization, some experience with a start-up environment preferred
•Strategic, critical thinker who isn’t afraid to get into the weeds; real passion for problem solving
•Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels of the organization, influence behavior, and manage change
•Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
•High degree of integrity and honesty; ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in complex and sensitive situations
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
•BA/BS Bachelor's Degree
•5+ years of retail HR experience
•Ability to travel as required (25%)
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
•Experience working with and influencing senior leaders
•Proficiency at leading large working groups across a matrix environment
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to identify key message points
