Summary
The Global Retail Lead, PMO, is responsible for supporting the execution of key global strategic store operations initiatives. This role will be gathering business requirements, streamlining processes, and managing projects from initiation to implementation. This position manages several simultaneous complex, cross-functional and high-risk strategic projects with significant financial implications. The project manager will partners with all global regions as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope and within budget.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
       Serve as primary project lead on multiple concurrent projects
Determine appropriate project structure, work streams and team leads
Develop and maintain project plans with detailed tasks, activities, deliverables and timelines
Manage and evaluate project resource requirements
Continuously assess and re-evaluate project priorities; develop contingency plans
Facilitate project schedules and meetings
Document project decisions, action items, issues and risks
Maintain project document repositories
Serve as primary liaison with external vendors
Manage project budgets and all related expenses
Prepare project status reports and steering committee presentations
Manage workflow of projects through understanding strategies, ensuring alignment, soliciting content from subject matter experts, editing, proofing and seeking approvals.
Understand cultural, legal, and language differences between countries and how they impact operational standards in stores.
Minimum experience
Four-year college degree preferred
2-4 years of experience managing projects in a large retail environment
Proficiency in MS Office suite, including MS Project
Desired Qualifications
PMP certification
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Strong facilitation skills
Team player with excellent collaboration skills
High attention to detail
Self starter with sense of urgency
Enjoys fast paced environments
International retail experience preferred
Ability to travel both globally and domestically as needed
Able to overcome adversity and deal with ambiguity
Ability to listen and communicate with internal teams and outside vendors, consultants and contractors
Flexibility to shift focus and priorities
