As the Manager of Run Specialty Sales, at Under Armour (UA), your mission will be to service and grow our High Performance Apparel, Footwear, and Accessories business for a diverse customer base nationwide. You’ll accomplish this objective by providing consultative sales & service to an assigned account portfolio, driving revenue growth and maximizing profits for UA and retail customers including Fleet Feet, Road Runner Sports and various other Run Specialty accounts. You'll develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and strive for increased representation of all UA Run product lines. You'll also build and maintain strong relationships with internal cross-functional teammates. You'll act as a liaison to UA’s Run Specialty customers on relevant UA initiatives, collaboratively develop capabilities, and effectively enhance UA & retail partner connection to the consumer. You’ll also communicate account issues, future business opportunities, and product issues to the sales leadership team via regular marketplace reports during sales meetings.

What will I do at Under Armour?
Manage day to day interactions with sales agencies in the field - be able to answer all questions about discounts, order allocation, order shipment, and assortment/product recommendations for specific orders
Have a high level of familiarity with UA internal reporting systems (BI) to provide the following to sales reps and the Director of Specialty Sales Sales Reports – historical, current season, and booking reports

Have an expert level of knowledge on all UA Run product be able to educate sales reps and account buyers on any technical detail of any UA Run Product, footwear, apparel, and accessories
Be familiar with competitor Run Specialty assortments and what specific styles UA product will comp, with a focus on footwear
Have a good understanding of price point ranges in the Run Specialty industry and where UA Run product falls on that spectrum

Provide monthly shipped reports by territory to Accounts Payable for agency commissions
Maintain an accurate Run Specialty account list that includes addresses, account categories, tiers, and additional classifications (Fleet Feet, Road Runner, etc.) in order to provide reporting to cross functional partners
Have in depth Run Specialty industry knowledge – being familiar with: Retail sales at Run Specialty
Major players and influencers in the industry (accounts and people)
Current trends, specifically footwear

Take a hands on approach with major accounts and orders Be able to present the product line during key account sell-ins (Charm City Run, etc.)
Be prepared to be the first point of contact for order management and event needs for Charm City Run

Take a leading role in management of several key Run Specialty events throughout the year Shamrock 5k, Sole of the City 10k, Charles Street 12 Write and manage race premium orders for Charm City Run for these events
be present at the events when possible

Baltimore Running Festival, Chicago Marathon, NYC Marathon, Austin Marathon Write and manage inline orders for all events
Manage custom graphic creation process by working with cross functional teams (quick turn, design, supply planning)


Support the Director of Specialty Sales on P&L management and quarterly updates on yearly financial targets Be able to speak to the current state of the Run Specialty business during Sales Ops Calls

Have experience using Excel – must be comfortable using Vlookup and Pivot tables
