Summary
The Senior Lead, Solutions Architect plays a pivotal role in leveraging technology to drive, operate, and support the distribution systems at Under Armour. Responsibilities center on designing and supporting system solutions using a deep understanding of functional processes and technical tools through excellent relationships with internal and external partners at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Keep abreast of industry trends and innovations and future technology development for the distribution and transportation functional areas
Maintain expert knowledge of development tools, technologies, and related delivery methods
Establish / Maintain Business Process Expertise for the WMS, WCS/WES, and TE functional areas within Under Armour
Participate in Business and IT Demand Management to help identify and prioritize business requirements and supporting business case
Develop comprehensive requirement specifications that will allow for the estimation of cost, time and resources to successfully deploy solutions
Author, edit, and present both technical and functional design specifications
Work with solution and domain architects and support teams to develop detailed system landscapes and technical solutions including security, data accessibility, technical and functional capabilities, and system monitoring
Assist in the design and technical specification of custom software components, enhancements or customizations
Produce conceptual and logical solution designs for projects to address business requirements while respecting corporate standards and guidelines.
Provide advice and consultation throughout the system lifecycle
Assist Project Managers with scope, issues resolution, and risk management
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support by assisting with the troubleshooting of problems and incidents
Manage working relationship with Functional Super Users, business stakeholders, external partners, and IT Business Analysts
Highlight / identify gaps in existing functionality and provide viable solutions
Understand constraints and opportunities and drive initiatives based on these
Key Skills
Minimum 5 years of WMS Design and Solution Development with Apparel focus preferred
Proven negotiation and influencing skills
Collaborative team member
Refined implementation, project management, and prioritization skills
Strong customer focus
Documented ability to effectively optimize (improve quality, increase throughput, reduce cost) existing warehouse processes
Knowledge of Manhattan WMi, Dematic iQ a plus
