ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
•Experience in product development space; ability to diagnose up and downstream impact of situations
•Prior experience in working directly with external partners/vendors; ability to identify underlying issues based on vendor questions/comments
•Ability to call attention to key points (big picture thinking) by answering & explaining more complex issues in dealing with calendar, product, tech packs, quality, etc.
•Responsible for running reports on a consistent schedule & as needed to complete work & milestones; elevating risks when necessary by manipulating data/information as needed
•Demonstrates understanding of color, material, trims developments and construction/manufacturing methods and process.  Shows understanding of fit, testing and product requirements for end use and how these affect costs
•Strong grasp of BOMs and all associated items; reviews/assesses the BOM for accuracy to identify risk or incorrect items on fabric/trims, factory and suppliers; correct label/hangtag and consistency within category/product line
•Continue to develop understanding of the sourcing model and all associated activities.   Able to align all key activities with vendor capabilities and UA seasonal calendar, escalating issues accordingly and on time
•Able to explain key concepts & process flow (why certain steps need to happen & what is impacted if dates are missed)
•Proactively assesses vendor understanding of tech pack; review sample in detail and make recommendations when needed, following up on sample delays or issues as necessary
•Responsible for building majority of content & providing context when appropriate
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Utilizes previous work experience to adapt tone and message for their audience when communicating
•Speaks confidently and knowledgeable about the samples, bringing a POV for each style
•Seeks other views and feedback to connect the dots and share insights accordingly
•Understanding of data systems and programs, including but not limited to; Illustrator, Excel and PowerPoint
•Collaborates and connects with peers to meet deadlines and goals, including those in extended POD
•Flexible/Agile as priorities shift; efficient, works with speed
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelor’s Degree
•2-5+ years of Experience
