The Senior Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of Supply Chain projects associated with short- and long-term strategies.  The qualified candidate will be an integral contributor to UA's Global Logistics group by leading other project managers (PMs) and cross-functional project teams responsible for advancing various Logistics, Distribution, and end-to-end Supply Chain initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Senior Project Manager performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
Develop strategic roadmaps
Define the scope of the short- and long-term strategies for the Supply Chain and/or Global Logistics departments and supported business units, in collaboration with senior management
Identify specific initiatives associated with each higher level strategy, to include timing required for implementation
Establish and maintain the project portfolio for all initiatives, and provide oversight of all PMs allocated to the portfolio
Align with cross functional groups to ensure that roadmap includes IT , FP&A and business requirements and inputs
Plan each project (directly, or through oversight of other PMs)
Define the scope of the project in collaboration with key stakeholders and functional owners
Identify any data/analytics that will be involved in the requirements and design phases of the project
Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, people) required to complete the project
Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities, and review it with key stakeholders who will be affected by project execution activities and overall project objectives
Determine key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics upon which the project will be evaluated at key milestones and upon its completion
In consultation with the appropriate manager(s), select teammates and external partners with appropriate skills for each of the project’s work-streams (i.e. Supply Chain, IT, Engineering, Operations, Security, HR, Real Estate, Finance, etc.)
Establish a communication plan and appropriate update format and meeting frequency for key stakeholders and decision-makers in the organization on the progress of the project
Implement and manage each project (directly, or through oversight of other PMs)
Execute the project in accordance with the project plan; maintain the master project schedule
Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of milestones and the project overall; escalate risk as needed
Lead project meetings with established agendas
Maintain group focus, and hold task owners accountable
Monitor all project expenditures through established financial procedures
Develop tools for managers to have visibility to project risks, critical path items, and resource allocation
Evaluate the project (directly, or through oversight of other PMs)
Ensure the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase
Execute formal project review and closeout activities
Conduct handoff activities with functional owners, and identify any subsequent project phases
Supervisory Responsibilities
Lead, train, and mentor other PMs
Establish standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other guidelines, and hold PMs accountable to these standards
Manage performance through establishment of clear metrics and routine feedback

Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year College or University
Three-five years project management or related experience
PMP or related certification ( preferred )
Demonstrated experience leading teams of people with diverse motivations, opinions, and personalities; experience influencing through non-supervisory relationships a plus (i.e. when people don’t have to listen to you)
Experience speaking in front of others and leading meetings from project-level to senior management-level
Experience and confidence working within applications such as Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, and Outlook
Experience generating and/or analyzing data as it relates to project objectives
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) providers and external consultant partners
Experience working on projects across a variety of areas (e.g. IT system upgrade, new process development & implementation, building/equipment implementation, cost savings/improvement initiatives)
Analytical background – running reports/pulling data, interpreting results with the ability to identify and explain outliers
Strong understanding how supply chain ( functional expertise ) and strong business knowledge
Ability to effectively  vertically communicate  upwards ( executive level ) and downward to functional and support teams
Work Environment
The majority of project work will occur in/around Under Armour’s Corporate Headquarters in Baltimore, MD
The teammate should be prepared to work across shifts and weekends/holidays in support of project timelines (if necessary)
Travel may be a requirement; expect 10-30% depending on primary location of the project
