SUMMARY
Member of the Payroll team who will be responsible for overseeing federal, state and local tax compliance, in addition to quarterly and annual tax files.  This person will require standard Payroll processing functional knowledge as well as knowledge of applicable Federal and State tax regulations.  This position will impact a rapidly growing organization and offers career development opportunities to the right candidate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee the payroll tax functions for multiple payroll entities
Responsible for all quarterly and annual tax filings and reconciliations between ADP Globalview & ADP Smart Compliance
Administer annual W2 processes and submissions timely
Coordinate state experience rate notices and update ADP systems
Submit Client Made Deposit information to ADP for invoice credits
Set up new jurisdictions in ADP GV and ADP Smart Compliance
Communication with local and state agencies to apply for tax IDs and to close old accounts as necessary
Perform pre payroll master data audits to ensure accuracy of teammate tax set-up
Develop and maintain payroll tax process maps and document payroll processes and implement controls and the appropriate “checks and balances”
Assist teammates with advanced questions and facilitate adjustments with processing team
Communicate with Accounting and Treasury regarding expected cash flow as it relates to Payroll tax
Ensure adherence to internal controls to maintain compliance with tax regulations
Implement Payroll Tax Metrics
Assist manager in payroll and tax audits
Work on special projects as assigned by manager

Working knowledge of payroll best practices
Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations as it pertains to employee withholdings
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
FPC or CPP a plus
 EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
4-6 years of processing multi-state payroll
SAP Payroll experience a plus
High School diploma and 4-6 years’ experience processing multi-state payroll.  Prior Payroll/Accounting experience is necessary
COMPUTER SKILLS:
SAP Payroll experience a plus
Working knowledge of ADP SmartCompliance
ADP GlobalView
SAP
Intermediate Excel Preferred (specifically vLookup & Creating Pivot tables)
