Under Armour is seeking a Social Content Strategy Manager for our growing Global Consumer Engagement group. This role will be responsible for the development of social media strategy and digital content in support of various product categories (split by sport and gender). 
We are looking for a thought leader with a proven track record of developing progressive content strategies for brands, evolving the way they connect with consumers.  As a relatively new group within Under Armour, we’re looking to add talent that can help further define the culture we’re creating… consumer-centric, intellectually curious, and always innovating.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for and thorough understanding of consumer media behaviors, social platforms, digital media, content marketing, and experience leveraging these tools to drive consumers through the purchase funnel. 
Responsibilities:
Oversee editorial planning and content strategy for UA social content across Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.
Partner with Communications Strategy and Performance Marketing teammates to develop groundbreaking content to help drive revenue and brand love with the target.
Lead tactical ideation and execution for category digital and social activations.
Work with regional marketing partners to plan and deliver against seasonal content needs and advise on any local content creation.
Collaborate with brand marketing and creative teammates to ensure social voice and content align to category positioning and creative direction.
Partner with Sports Marketing and Influencer Marketing leads to develop social activations in support of key seasonal category product stories.
Partner with Events team to develop digital content and UGC extensions to UA experiential activations.
Manage agency relationships on project-specific activations.
Identify and articulate platform and media behavior insights that lead to new ways to connect with consumers.
Track content performance against defined KPI’s and evaluate the impact of our work, providing actionable insights for the future to cross-functional partners.
Develop and maintain a test and learn agenda built to pilot new content formats, ad products, partners, and platforms.
Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience in content marketing, digital content, and social media (agency or client side).
Experience with both brand and direct marketing initiatives.
Strong understanding of digital landscape, media, trends and online consumer behavior.
Proven project management skills with a knack for cross-functional collaboration and a focus on completing on time and on budget.
Excellent communication and presentation skills – must be able to both educate and gain consensus with internal partners and decision makers. 
Pro-active in pursuing new opportunities, ideas, platforms, etc.
Professional experience in or personal passion for fitness a plus.
Must be willing to travel.
Must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change as our company grows.
