The Lead, Global Retail Operations – Inventory Control, will launch and support global inventory guidelines across the entire fleet of stores. Starting with the implementation of RFID, they will build and implement the program to improve and maintain inventory accuracy in every region. They will be the primary owner of RFID in Retail by leading the launch including timelines, budgets, milestones, and communication. This person will manage the ongoing operations of RFID inclusive of reporting, and managing enhancements as necessary. They will drive consistency through developing procedures for our stores to follow to ensure a single way of operating occurs. Through collaboration with peers and international counterparts, a best in class inventory control program will be established and maintained under their leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Launch RFID Program globally
Establish guidelines and processes around new RFID program
Identify innovative solutions that RFID unlocks in regards to both inventory and store experience
Partner with areas of the business impacted by inventory; Asset Protection, Labor Management, Distribution partners, Packaging Teametc.
Develop and deliver concise and actionable operational standards to other regions
Align operational standards and resources across regions
Manage priorities of execution based on timeline targets and vision and be able to adjust and refocus within project timeline
Scale tools and procedures to adapt to the local needs as required
Consolidate business requirements across all regions when introducing new retail tools/resources
Create single physical inventory process for all stores to follow
Manage and become an expert on operational platforms/software as needed
Reduce operational shrink within our stores through implementing best practices and guidelines
Manage relationships with current vendors, and initiate contracts with new companies as needed
Ability to step in and work cross-functionally with all ongoing operations projects
Effectively meet goals and milestones while simultaneously managing multiple projects
Understand cultural, legal, and language differences between countries and how they impact operational standards in stores
Support on inventory tools inclusive of devices, reporting, and other in-store resources
