SummaryUnder Armour is looking for a Vice President, Merchandise and Demand Planning & Inventory Management, to provide strategic direction to the global Merchandise, Demand and Inventory management teams in order to drive results across multiple product teams globally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop, drive, and own Global Planning & Inventory Management strategies:
Exhibit leadership in strategic planning and driving key initiatives within Global Planning & Inventory Management.
Set strategic objectives and drive results as it relates the Planning Center of Excellence and Inventory Strategy & Management.  Additionally, will drive connection points between the Category Merchandising Planning as well as Regional Wholesale, DTC and Demand Planning.
Foster an environment of operational excellence and drive our supply chain to being predictive.  
Help define rules for inventory management and liquidation.
Vet demand plans against inventory levels.
Monitor & ensure regions are in line with inventory targets laid out in the 3YP.
Provide strategic leadership and represent the Supply Chain organization making key data driven decisions.
Establish and run regular S&OP meetings across multiple functions which are data driven and take into consideration latest research results
Develop and support a Consensus Planning process to align and streamline Under Amour’s Go To Market Strategy
Provide guidance and strategic direction to minimize business exposure yet maximize and maintain flexibility for future production and opportunities.
Actively drive vision towards the automation and integration of planning tools
Global Demand & Merchandise Planning Center of Excellence: Build world class planning capabilities to reduce inventory.
Coordinate global line architecture plan; partnering with both Category and Regional planning teams
Build strong programs and scorecards and robust planning systems and processes that allow Under Armour to reduce inventory while improving customer service.
Set guidelines for in-season planning (e.g. markdowns) with inventory planning team
Work with Category Merchandise & Regional planning to drive best practices & standardization.
Roll up aggregated demand from regions and pass global view to Supply Planning
Oversee implementation of new planning process

Education and/or Experience 
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related area from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 15 years of experience in Planning, Operations, and Scheduling functions
Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent quality certification preferred
Prior experience in a multi-discipline supply chain role with demonstrated leadership skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Dedication to customer service and fulfillment
Demonstrated effective project management skills and experience
