The Product Line Manager, Collegiate Licensing will sit at the nexus one of the most profitable and fastest growing parts of UA’s business. Tasked with owning multiple product categories from product ideation to execution, the PLM is the true general manager of his or her business and represents UA, the license partners, retail partners, and the consumer. A cross-functional role, the PLM will liaise with multiple departments: marketing, operations, finance, design, accounting, and sales to name a few in order to bring the most compelling products to market, season after season.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Function as the Lead for designated product categories - crafting the product line, and working with functional support team to ensure successful go-to-market execution.
Lead collaboration and articulate a vision across Licensees, Design, Sales, Operations, Merchandising, Finance and Marketing. Collaborate with cross-functional teammates and external partners to commercialize product from concept stage to market. 
Identify new business opportunities grounded in consumer insights, innovation & trend.  Present new business cases supported with projections, modeling & analysis.
Subject matter expert of market & consumer to maintain competitive edge.  Conduct regular travel to retail & trade shows to identify trends & opportunities.  Know the competition at every price point.
Deliver a line plan strategy, vision & POV taking into account innovation & trend.  Align with UA Brand strategies and product initiatives. 
Ensure Under Armour Direct to Consumer is the best expression of licensing for the UA Brand
Drive a holistic go-to-market strategy including packaging and compelling in-store/online presentations.  Work closely with Marketing to ensure product point of view is conveyed and deliver best-in-class print, digital, out of home, in-store and social storytelling.
Own communication of strategy for designated product categories.  Must have strong presentation skills and be able to clearly articulate strategy and gain alignment in a highly matrixed environment
Own the financial targets and 3-year planning strategy for designated product categories
Consult on RFPs and contract negotiation as the product expert for designated categories
Meet regularly with licensee partners, sales teams, merchandising and marketing to analyze sales results, new trends, information from key accounts and competitors for quick response to market opportunities.
Work closely with sports marketing and team sales to align product and consumer needs
Drive Data Integrity for Armoury/P360 and all other systems to ensure data is accurate and up-to-date
Ensure that all calendars and go-to-market timelines are met

Strong presentation skills
Experience developing pricing strategies and an assortment mix that supports the Brand positioning
Experience developing sales tools and executing final product mix
Team Player Attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4 year University
5+ years of related work experience
