PRODUCER + SOCIAL MANAGER, GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS
The Producer + Social Lead role will sit within the Global Communications team at Under Armour. This role is integral to Under Armour’s Communications team, and will play a key role in the development and management of rich storytelling content for UA’s Newsroom platform, as well as the dissemination of Newsroom stories over UA social channels.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Partner closely with colleagues on the Brand and Corporate Comms teams, defining and executing a strategy to create editorial content that tells the Under Armour story directly to stakeholders and teammates through owned and social channels, and provide media with the assets they need to increase the impact of earned coverage;
Develop a vision to move Under Armour forward in digital storytelling through rich content
Partner with Global Comms teammates to conceive content for category storytelling (i.e., Basketball, Running, Training, Golf, etc);
Liaise with internal and external creative partners throughout the journey of content development – partner selection, brief, edits, delivery;
Liaise with internal cross-functional partners to share content plans, pull existing or in-the-works content from cross-functional teams, while working to share production costs with functions that are looking for same or similar content
Manage the @UANews Twitter handle to update followers about new stories, and occasionally news and information from the Brand going out to news outlets that follow @UANews
Partner with UA Brand and Category social leads to coordinate storytelling and the dissemination of social-ready content to broaden our reach
Partner closely with UA Newsroom Editor on above processes

WHAT YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED ALREADY:
B.S. Degree in journalism, communications or marketing
12+ years of experience in editorial content development for a digital publisher, consumer brand or marketing/communications agency
Extensive experience working across multiple creative mediums including, but not limited to photography, video, animation, AR, VR, podcast, documentary.
Proven experience communicating across a variety of social/digital channels both personally and professionally
Working knowledge of online publishing platforms and SEO concepts
Abilities in planning and coordinating people and operations
Superior written and verbal communication skills and strong knowledge of current media landscape
Solid organizational and leadership skills
Proven track record of working effectively in fast-paced environment
Prior experience working for a global company with a strong, premium brand and a distinct culture
Inspirational qualities and the ability to create an atmosphere in which people work together enthusiastically and co-operatively to produce outstanding results
An ability to lead through influence by forming productive relationships cross-functionally with our leadership team
Have respect for what Under Armour has accomplished while bringing new thinking and suggesting well-reasoned points of view for improving the performance of the business
Significant executive presence, confidence, and preparedness to be able to meet and engage with highest level of executives and athletes in the world
Experience conducting business and partnering with executives and staff in multiple regions globally, a plus
Experience working for a high-growth organization is a plus
Apparel/Sports industry experience a plus, but not required
