As Senior Lead, Commercial Optimization and part of the Global Commercial Optimization Team you will develop and implement cross-functional Sales initiatives across all four global regions with a focus on Channel and Customer Segmentation, Global Account Management and Trade Terms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Include but are not limited to the following:
Drive strategy, procedure, processes and tools to develop and optimize Account and Channel Segmentation, Trade Term and Discount Frameworks and Account Management standards.
Develop and guide the implementation a holistic segmentation strategy and process to allow differentiation for all channels, markets and SKAs. Connect Account Segmentation to Consumer Segmentation and drive Implementation of 9 Box & SMART assortments, managing cross-functional and international task-forces.
Create global Trade Terms strategy and support the implementation of commercial Terms & Conditions Framework for accounts based on volume, quantitative growth, sales programs and qualitative growth. Roll-out and track Trade Term Framework to include tracking and simulation to make it audit proof.
Define and support the implementation of discount and sales programs and policies; drive communication pertaining to any sales or legal process and policy updates in alignment with legal department.
Develop framework and processes for management of Global Accounts (Amazon, Footlocker, JD, SDI and Intersport) in collaboration with regional leadership.
Identify and support development of sales tools and technologies required to enable the sales teams to be more efficient and effective. Work closely with sales leadership to optimize the effectiveness of technology investments (e.g. FMS, Trasix).
ATTRIBUTES OF IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Include but are not limited to the following:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Finance, Marketing or Strategy
8+ years’ work experience in Sales, ideally in the Sporting Goods / Fashion industry
Additional experience as Management Consultant preferred
Results-oriented with exemplary analytical and organizational skills and a passion for details
“Start-up” mindset: flexible, self-motivated and driven
Comfortable working with teammates at all levels of the organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint
