Under Armour is building a Merchandising function, creating a structure that supports and keeps pace with our aggressive growth. Our products have a compelling story to tell, and Merchandising is the conduit that delivers our story and product across the Globe.
Under Armour is looking for a Sr. Director of Category Merchandising for the Team Sports category who will be responsible for the following:
Managing all aspects of Merchandising for the Team Sports category (primarily Football, Baseball, Sideline, Slides, Global Football, Volleyball & Lacrosse)
Owns line architecture and accountability for SKU productivity and line efficiency
Partner with product teams to set the season and merchandising strategies
Will be the expert on the marketplace to anticipate and create the next movement in these categories
Will lead the globe on product segmentation, channel differentiation, assortments, and go-to-market strategies for the regions
Working closely with Product Line Management, Marketing, Planning and Sales to effectively drive sales, create a great customer experience, and increase market share
Will be responsible for setting initial price bands and promotional guardrails
Share accountability for Global Revenue, SKU productivity, and sell-through for the Team Sports Business
Ensure Brand vision and Team Sports Category Product stories are being told consistently across the globe
Develop strategic planning road map for product trends, needs, and opportunities
Lead and build a team while communicating vision, inspiring performance, and developing talent
Consolidate feedback from markets and channels, both qualitative and quantitative, into actionable follow-up for Product teams
