Summary
Under Armour is looking for a qualified, driven Professional, Global Store Designer - APAC to support the Global Store Design team for Under Armour Global Retail on the design integrity of the roll out of retail stores.  This position will oversee the APAC business design reviews and communicate adherence to global guidelines, standards and processes for the current concept. This person must have an understanding of retail construction and ability to work within a fast-paced environment.  They must also demonstrate the ability to influence others to gain alignment across the organization while ensuring decisions are made at major milestones.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Design Reviews of Retail locations for the APAC region
Meetings timelines, milestones and documents of outlined Design Phase Process on internal software.
Oversees regional sample approvals in accordance with global specifications
Manages the regional Master Set drawings in partnership with regional Store Design team and regional architects. Responsible for the integrity and quality of the construction documents inclusive of design intent, detailing, code requirements, scheduling and MEPs.
Supports in Regional Vendor Selection
Provides inventory/ supply support within regional market availability
In partnership with Global Procurement, supports regional market in selection of regional architects
Provides onboarding and facilitates continued trainings/ communications with regional architects and design teams
Acts as main point of contact for Flagship Designs, working in partnership with Concept Designers
Maintains strong relationships with Regional Store Design & Development Teams
Participates in weekly pipeline calls
Is comfortable receiving feedback create solutions that work for a unique design challenges.
Contributes to team goals by achieving target milestones and meeting all established deadlines.
Strong understanding of architectural and construction methods.
Oversees concept and design development drawings per guidelines.
Strong understanding of specifications and shop drawings
Has good understanding of lighting and A/V design.
Sets schedules with alignment from cross-functional teams. Communicates dates to project team and meets all established deadlines.
Designs stores within parameters of individual store budgets and market requirements with alignment from cross functional teams.
Participates in schematic reviews with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

Min. 3-5 years professional experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design
Professional License track preferred
Knowledge of architectural details and specifications for construction document production.
Organizational skills; attention to detail
Retail experience preferred
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
General understanding of building codes & environmental regulations.
Proficiency in use of AutoCAD, Sketch Up and InDesign Suite. Revit preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and build effective working relationships.
Ability to balance design, with operational needs and budget objectives resulting in exceptional store environments.
Ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines.
Experience in interpretation of and creation of construction documents, technical details and engineering drawings.
Experience in shop drawing reviews.
Specialty knowledge in HVAC, lighting and energy management systems.
Time management, prioritization and communication skills.
Ability to confidently lead work groups that include landlords, architects, engineers, general contractors and Under Armour leadership.
Strong team player.
