As a Distribution House Manager, you will oversee the activities of the assigned department to achieve department goals, safety, quality, cost and delivery. You will be responsible for delegating tasks and leading the execution of department and building goals. Managers are responsible for effectively communicating cross functionally to maintain the most productive and efficient workflow on the shift and set up of upcoming shifts. This involves driving a safety culture while ensuring secure storage of inventory and accurate, timely shipment of customer orders at minimal cost. Distribution House Managers drive department performance and accountability while enforcing Under Amour’s Core Competencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inclusive, but not limited, to the following duties:
•Provides direct and administrative support to the entire Bulk, Receiving, Inventory Control and Returns Department
•Works with the DH Management Team, in order to achieve the goals of the department
•Ensures maximum inventory accuracy and efficiency to ensure shipping dates are achieved
•Creates and implements appropriate operating systems, processes and audits to support the accuracy of the inventory levels.
•Monitor Work Management Operations Systems.
•Advises the bulk team on proper put-away and picking procedures
•Maintain a 99% inventory accuracy rating
•Operates as a pivot point servicing all departments such as Receiving, Pick Module, Put to Store, Shipping, and Returns
•Monitors inventory capacity as well as incoming volume.Ensure that all receiving receipts are received in accurately and promptly.
•Responsible for scheduling of MHE (Material Handling Equipment) training classes and ensuring operator licenses remain valid.
•Work closely with Bulk and Receiving Supervisors by managing day to day responsibilities, coaching, developing and deploying continuous improvement tools and techniques.
•Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelor's degree (B. A.)
•Four-year college or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
•Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
•Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
•Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
•To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software; Inventory software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
