Under Armour needs a Sr. Lead, Operations who can drive strategic optimizations and seasonal execution of the Apparel and Accessories processes. In order to achieve the mission, this teammate will need to develop a detailed knowledge of the product processes and calendars, an understanding of what metrics are available (or need to be developed) to bring visibility to execution and potential issues, and a strong cross-functional network to understand how teams are experiencing the calendar and effectively manage change.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
Develop Product Creation plans for Apparel, Accessories, and the multiple sub-calendars underneath that connect with Merchandising, Marketing, VM, Planning, and other GTM processes and timing
Develop a long-term view of calendar/milestone overlaps to drive conversations around future timing.
Serve as the point person for Product Creation Operations on related projects (example WIN21 operating efficiency, proven and tested, etc.
Partner with Operations Analytics to monitor and manage the execution of the seasonal calendars bringing performance visibility in an actionable form the the product teams
Be the headlights. Ensure information and upcoming steps are understood and actionable by the teams. Working across function to coordinate detailed activity (steps between the steps)
Communicate upcoming processes and steps to functions via reliable and repeatable forums

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
5+ years working in retail, footwear and apparel industry
Preferred experience in an internal or external consulting role within the footwear and apparel industry and working in an operations role
Deep understanding of product creation (materials/ color, design, development, sourcing, costing) processes, trends and strategies
Understanding of current industry trends in digital product and product lifecycle management
Understanding of how different product strategies contribute to overall business models in footwear and apparel
Understanding of how product creation fits within the broader eco-system of an organization, particularly the intersection points with Line Planning, Merchandising, Supply & Demand Planning, Sourcing and Manufacturing
