Summary:
Reporting to the Director, Global Compensation, this position is responsible for the supporting the development, implementation and administration of broad based global compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
The Lead Compensation, serves as a trusted advisor across global business unit leadership team(s) and HR partners. The role will work with the compensation team to drive global compensation processes including benchmarking, pay analysis, and annual bonus, equity and merit planning and administration.
Liaise with HRBPs to develop and implement compensation strategies appropriate for their business needs and consistent with the organization's overall reward strategy.
Lead the external salary survey participation and benchmarking processes and analysis, including data collection, matching jobs, and interfacing with survey vendors. Participate and analyze industry specific and general market surveys to ensure competitive market position of salaries.
Develop/refine processes for new (and requested) position market pricing and market salary review.
Conduct ad-hoc surveys and market research to stay up-to-date with trends; evaluate and provide recommendations and influence decision-making on business changes requiring expertise and analysis (e.g., new hire compensation, specialized programs, retention programs, etc.). 
Utilize expertise and acumen to provide input into job architecture and compensation structure design and implementation; provide design guidance and support for sales, retail, distribution house compensation structure and incentives. Perform analyses and conduct best practices research to support decision-making. 
Subject matter resource, end-user support, and IT liaison for the merit / bonus module. Document requirements, recommend efficiency and process improvements, test, and train on module enhancements. Develops tools, guidelines and communications for annual increase and incentive cycle.
Support the design, implementation and continuity of the global recognition program. 
Provide support for executive-level compensation across base pay and incentives.
Partner with Talent Management to educate and provide direction of the compensation activities, programs, policies and year-end processes 
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree and CCP/SHRM/HRCI certifications preferred. 
Minimum of 8 years of compensation experience.  Additional experience in human resources or compensation consulting preferred. 
Eight (8) years professional level compensation experience including job descriptions, job evaluations, completing salary surveys, establishing pay lines/salary grades, job families, career ladders and related compensation policies, programs and procedures
Other Preferred Requirements:
Knowledge and experience across broad-based total rewards. 
Ability to work closely with members of the HR leadership and leadership as well as build collaborative working relationships with other members of management. 
Strong experience in job evaluation methodologies.
Demonstrated analytical skills as applied to business and specifically administration/management of compensation programs
Demonstrated organization, time management, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Capacity to embrace change and quickly adapt to new situations, changes in direction and alternating priorities
Demonstrated strategic thinking, influencing, problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to interact with all levels of management
Working knowledge of federal and state labor laws and common compensation practices and procedures
Excellent customer service and positive interpersonal skills, including ability to facilitate and mediate sensitive and/or confrontational situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including editing abilities and outstanding presentation skills, including ability to speak in front of groups
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, and proficiency or the ability to learn quickly with little assistance other software packages. Prior work in BI is a plus.
Ability to identify alternatives and make contingency plans
Knowledge of HRIS systems
Deep interest in analyzing data and ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
