Under Armour is searching for an individual responsible for the design and development of the Global Retail SharePoint application site creation and integration. This platform serves as a primary communication tool and database of UA’s Global Retail guidelines, standards and process to Regional Retail teams. The Global Retail Website Administrator has a strong understanding of SharePoint 2010 and 2013 and SharePoint Portals and related technologies in the Microsoft stack. That knowledge should be represented by the implementation, migration and customization of SharePoint Portals, content management sites or web-based collaborative workspaces.
Keeping in mind Under Armour’s diverse and global workforce, you'll collaborate across departments to develop the platform where Global Retail communicates to regional teams and partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop the initial site architecture and ongoing support/updates of the Global Retail Communications Platform.
Manage content information with the ability to think quickly and make good business decisions under tight timelines
Manage site update cadence and communication of all updates.
Implement Security: responsible for securing company files by creating security groups, allowing access to specific employees or departments, as well as setting permissions for editing abilities.
Ensure the proper maintenance and functionality of the SharePoint portal. This individual will work with Under Armour IT to troubleshoot and fix any SharePoint issues or malfunctions.
Build relationships with cross-functional business partners in visual merchandising, store design and development, store operations and other corporate functions as required.
Monitor System Usage by evaluating built-in SharePoint reports and reviewing the files and websites that are no longer used and can be deleted or archived to free up space.
Responsible for training new partners or teammates on how to use/navigate the platform. This includes creating manuals and designing in person trainings and being available for questions
Think creatively and focus on continuous improvement as it pertains to communication tools, communication and service levels to the organization
Meet regularly with business partners to understand goals, uncover opportunities and manage upcoming needs
Build relationships cross-channel and cross-function to uncover and share best practices
Share skills and experiences with other team members to enhance team-based learning opportunities
Contributes to overall team goals through effective communication, a positive attitude and team collaboration
1. Knowledge, skills & abilities
Experience in translating the communication needs of the business and upfront and ongoing technical requirements into easily navigable and managed solution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail
Creative communications counselor with strong influencing skills; able to work independently and maintain partnerships cross-functionally and across leaders and business partners, to achieve objectives and deliver on deadlines
Ability to support business partners in creating and executing comprehensive communication plans
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritizing as required
Flexibility to manage competing priorities and shift focus as determined by changing needs of the business
Ability to deal with ambiguous situations and act quickly and decisively
Experience in using new and emerging technology
Experience in project management
Specific work elements Assisting in project development, defining technical requirements and developing solutions; on-going support for applications; designing and customizing SharePoint solutions
2. Minimum educational level
Four-year college degree preferred with a concentration in IT or Communications.
3. Minimum experience
Skilled IT professional with experience in software analysis, design, and development
Enterprise SharePoint 2010/2013 experience with installations, implementations, project management, requirements gathering, and customization
