Summary
Under Armour needs a planning expert in the Direct-to-Consumer Retail Division.  The Merchandise Planning Manager - Factory House will be given a rare opportunity to lead and be a part of a rapidly growing brand and division.  Passion, desire and integrity are traits we look for in our teammates.  You will play a key role in leading the financial and inventory planning processes for our UA Factory House stores with the opportunity to make an instant impact to the business; more importantly you will be responsible for the continued development of our teammates and processes to continue to position North America Factory House as a leader in planning.  As such, you will routinely engage and partner with our Brand House, 3rd Party, Ecommerce and Wholesale Planning teams as well as our Merchandising, Visual, Store Operations, Product, and Supply Chain teams amongst others here at UA to drive and deliver results. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Own all components of a retail Open-to-buy for a key product division within the North America Factory House channel to deliver on sales, margin, and inventory targets thru a multi-tiered, multi-dimensional planning organization.
Refine and develop end-to-end inventory management strategies that support pre-season financial and inventory alignment along with optimal in-season execution to deliver on all business KPIs.
Partner with key cross-functional planning leaders through to establish best-in-class planning practices and support the evolution of our planning tools.
Participate in the evolution of omni-channel planning for UA to help design highly dynamic, scalable processes that provide enhanced productivity and efficiency.
Lead and nurture a high-functioning, high-talented planning team to ensure continued individual development and career progression in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
Lead, train, develop and retain Planning team members by assessing resident skills and identifying training and development needs.
Ensure future success of the Planning team through developing career path and succession planning as well as mentoring and training programs.
Provide the Planning team members with stretch assignment opportunities to grow and develop new skills as well as enhance and refine processes that create efficiencies across planning categories.
Manage and refine the planning calendar to ensure logical flow or work deliverables that adequately pace teams.
Execute and collaborate on a strategic vision for planning/inventory investment for Retail stores. 
Develop preseason sales by analyzing historical and current trends while identifying risks and opportunities. 
Partner with Merchant team to create top line and divisional sales, inventory and gross margin goals.
Partner with Wholesale Planning to integrate Retail forecasts within the global planning calendar and process.
Partner with Merchant team to recommend promotional pricing and strategies.
Manage weekly cross-functional selling meetings to highlight and articulate business trends, opportunities and risks.
Publish weekly business reporting and provide expert analysis on trends and recommendations.
Support an environment that fosters respect for the ideas of others as well as ongoing collaboration to execute business strategy.
Establish, nurture, and utilize internal and external partners to drive the business.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree or related work experience.
Successfully lead a team of 3 or more direct reports with proven track record in people development and mentoring.
Minimum 3 years planning or financial analysis experience at an elevated level in a progressive & growth focused retail organization.
Excel skills imperative.  Experience in systems and programs relative to planning processes.                                         
Excellent partnership skills.
