Job Title: Associate Technical Designer
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Support one or more product categories from design concept to production garment
Assist in building technical packages including Bill of Materials, specs, pattern blocks, construction, etc.
Assist with establishing category standards for fit, construction and quality
Assist with fit sessions on live models then making fit changes via pattern corrections
Assist with establishing pattern blocks for the category and maintaining a pattern library
Communicate with overseas vendors
Assist with daily and seasonal tracking of prototype samples
Assist with product presentations related to fit and construction
Supervisory Responsibilities

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from a 4 year Fashion Design program with 2-3 years of Technical Design experience
Experience with Adobe Illustrator
Experience with a PDM/PLM system
Experience with 2D / 3D pattern system
