The Lead, Project Delivery reports to the Director of Project Delivery and is responsible for the management of the design and construction of Tenant Improvement, Ground Up and Technology projects within the Corporate Real Estate portfolio. Responsibilities include project leadership, client interface, budgeting, scheduling, programming, planning, design development, construction document development, construction management, project close out, and financial reporting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead turn-key project management through all phases of development, from initial analysis through closeout.
Directly manage multiple projects, deliverables, milestones, schedules, and budgets simultaneously.
Interact with external Project Managers reporting to Director for real estate projects
Team with internal and external partners to see all projects through successful timely completion
Manage multiple medium sized projects, individual large projects. Number of projects: 5-10 concurrently, depending on size
Manages all facets of a project with the following budgetary responsibility: Project value: $50k to $10M
Ability to master technical issues, handle detail, and manage multiple tasks
Ability to resolve conflict and disputes
Ability to form partnerships with client representatives to develop win/win solutions.
Understanding of the local or regional codes and ordinances that inform a building design
Understanding of contracting delivery methods, project controls, construction scheduling & budgeting fundamentals, and
Proven success in managing vendors, including architects, Contractors, and FF&E manufacturers.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint
Web based Project Management and Workflow Systems
AutoCAD (a plus).
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
5 to 7 years of project management experience
College degree required in a development core discipline such as Construction Management, Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related profession.
