Summary:  The On Field Development Ops and Production Lead manages the Tier 1 and Tier 2 Uniform Supply Base in assigned categories.  They will work cross functionally with product, design, materials, trims and tech design teams to implement product engineering and sourcing strategies that will result in on time deliveries and achieving quality standards. 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Builds strong working relationships with Product, Design, Materials, Trims, and Tech Design teams to influence best in class product building
Owns relationships and communication with factories and mills.
Works closely with cross functional partners in the business units so as to understand the future needs that the supply chain will need to support
Responsible for assigned business unit sourcing strategies execution; to include: sourcing allocations, product engineering, pre costing and margin, lead time and fabric strategy etc.
Elevate critical decisions on quantities to purchase based on historical information, future projections, and on hand inventory.
Owns material (and trim) inventory visibility and excess disposal process and strategy with finance and cross functional partners 
Owns calendar milestone oversight with Product Operations to ensure calendar considers development and production timeline needs, including wear testing
Holds cross functional and external partners accountable to calendar. 
Oversees and approves fabric purchase orders (including payments and credits) and ensures that they are delivered on time while making fiscally responsible decisions on ocean/air/ground shipments based on timing and needs analysis.  
Accountable for allocation and costing in the system and to implement adjustments or enhancements within systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness. 
Leads and owns Special Projects (Bowl Games/Hot Market/Olympics)

Bachelor’s degree
4-6 years of related supply chain, sourcing, merchandising, textiles or apparel manufacturing
Computer Skills/Knowledge
Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including:
Strong knowledge Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
Proficiency in SAP and Web based PLM systems a plus
