The Senior Manager of Content and Messaging serves as an integral member of Under Armour’s Corporate Communications team, and will play a key role in the development, management and dissemination of Under Armour’s corporate messages across multiple platforms – both internal and external, owned and earned. This position is for a creative storyteller and strategic thinker who is passionate about content and the role that it can play in moving our brand forward.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Mine for timely Brand and Corporate stories to inform, engage, entertain and ultimately elevate the brand reputation across multiple audiences including UA Teammates, consumers and the community.
Generate content ideas and in partnership with UA creative team, bring to life through videos, images, gifs, etc.
Understand the unique cross-functional and cross-departmental company structure and build the necessary relationships to quickly find answers and proactively identify ways for Under Armour to improve.
Establish new processes for internal collaboration and review to optimize the content development process.
Work closely with other content producers in the Under Armour organization to ensure all efforts are shared for maximum impact.
Manage and influence teammates who are not direct reports and to rally a team from a diversity of backgrounds behind a vision in order to drive results.
Effectively disseminate complex info in a clear and concise manner.
Conceptualize, create and share communications materials that will serve as a resource for various storytellers across the organization.
Lead cross-functional meetings that promote transparency across departments.

WHAT HAVE YOU ACCOMPLISHED ALREADY?
B.S. Degree in communications, journalism or marketing
5-7+ years of experience in editorial content development for a digital publisher, consumer brand or marketing/communications agency
Exceptional ability in copywriting and editing
Strong organizational skills
Knowledge of the social media landscape and demonstrated ability to manage a content calendar
Prior experience working for a global company with a strong, premium brand and a distinct culture
Experience conducting business and partnering with executives and staff in multiple regions globally is a plus
Proven track record of working effectively in fast-paced environment
