Planner II - Made for Outlet 
POSITION SUMMARY:
The MFO Planner II will own and lead the merchandise planning function on behalf of Category teams.  This role drives alignment of the category architecture and owns the creation of the Category Merchandise Plan at the style level.  The Planner is also a strategic partner to the GMs and helps quantify and modeling of major product decisions (e.g. segmentation, exclusivity, markdowns, price strategy, etc.) as well as recapping business performance to MFO teammates as well as Regional and cross-functional partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creating and maintaining a top line category plan for sales growth, demand, style and sku counts, and productivity for MFO categories for each GTM season.
Collaborate and influence the strategic vision for the category's seasonal Line Architecture.
Asset Management:  Prepare and present category performance (sell through results, risks & opportunities) to both internal and external partners, including MFO/MFL team.  Partner with Director, Global MFO to prepare for quarterly business review, prepare asset scorecards for finance team.  Complete ad-hoc analysis as needed.  
Review and analyze complex historical data/trends to optimize future forecasts and to inform strategies and action plans.
Work closely with the Category Merchants, multiple Regional Planning Partners, and Planning Center of Excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Leadership skills to provide a point of view to teammates and execute on Planning and Merchant vision. Strong analytical skills to collect, process and interpret data to influence product strategies and plans.
Ability to analyze complex quantitative data 
Problem solving skills to identify root cause and potential solves of reporting and forecasting anomalies
Communication skills to clearly explain forecast logic to cross functional stakeholders.  Problem solving skills to identify root cause and potential solves of reporting and forecasting anomalies.
Excellent partnership, collaboration and presentation skills. 
Track record of hitting time lines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. 
Strong aptitude in retail math, forecasting methodology and excel skills.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree or related experience.
4-6 years merchandise planning, store planning, inventory or other business planning experience.

Travel – less than 10%
