Summary
          Central resource of new market entry planning and continual maintenance of compliance programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Approval of new Customer on boarding packets.
Research of new market entry programs including new trade lanes and product types to understand complexities and / or restrictions. Define corporate policy and document requirements.
Responsible for keeping knowledge up to date on Trade Agreements, Trade Compliance and other complexities of International Trade.
Manage relationships with Customs Brokers in international destination countries.
Answer internal customer inquiries.
Publish monthly KPI’s.
Identify regulatory compliance discrepancies. Create process improvement plans and initiate changes as required.
Completion of post entry audits, identification of errors, and management of corrections as needed.
 Compliance training of regional offices.
Maintenance of standard operating procedures.
Educations and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
2+ years of related experience (preferably in apparel/footwear business)
Familiarity with international shipping and manufacturing processes
Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
Knowledge of a variety of software programs (specifically MS Office)
Multilingual a plus
