We’re looking for a humbleand hungry Engineering Managerfor iOS mobile development. Youwill be focused on deliveringabest in class mobile application for iOSon a global scale. Thisapplication will seamlessly connect with our fitness platforms and create a world-classconsumerengagement experience, centered on the user’s overall fitness goals. You will workalongside engineers, designers,and product professionals to successfully deliver the productroadmap. To thrive in this role, you execute well in an agile environment, feel comfortablementoring teammates ona high performing engineering team,encourage pragmatic decisionsandtight feedback loops, and take calculated risks based on collaboration with your peers.
Responsibilities:
?Participate in the full SDLC (Agile);including,estimation, planning,resource allocation,and retrospectivesessions.
?Serve as an iOSleaderon a team ofiOSengineers.
?Develop and advise on architecture, systems design, and project plans as it relates tomulti-channel experiences.
?Act as a driving force for constantly improving performance, scalability, extensibility,reliability, availability and usability.
?Participate indefining a technicalroadmap that aligns / supports the global businessstrategyand overall product roadmap.
?Help define career development plans for direct reports and positively support andevaluate individual and team performance.
Required Skills
?3+ years of experienceas an engineering manageron ateam of3+ teammates.
?3+ years of software development experience in ahighly agile environment.
?3+ years of experiencedeliveringmobile solutions oniOS.
?Comfortable in both Objective-C and Swift.
?Experience in all aspects of the softwaredevelopmentlife cycle including providingsupport and services to other areas of theorganization.
?Experience managing business expectations and scope as well as providing technologyrecommendations.
?Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills for internal and externalaudiences.
Preferred Skils:
?Experiencesupporting a product with a consumer base of > 1MM Monthly Active Usersstrongly desired.
Education/Experience:
?Computer Science BS or similar degree, or equivalent job related experience
