Summary: 
The Sr. Professional, Teammate Relations is a critical member of Under Armour’s North American based Employee Relations team.   Our team provides an employee relations program to effectively and consistently deal with complaints, investigations and performance issues to promote positive employee relations. This includes conducting workplace investigations in regards to EEO claims, including harassment, discrimination, workplace violence, and retaliation.  Assist with complex, high-risk and/or sensitive performance related issues.  Counsel first-line managers with respect to federal, state and local EEO and other laws to ensure consistent interpretation and application of laws, policies and procedures. Provide effective solutions for addressing workplace issues in an efficient manner with the goal of promoting a workplace that is free of discrimination and harassment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
May include the following:
Assists the organization with workforce issues by listening empathetically to moderately complex issues, managing assigned aspects of the issue in a sensitive manner. Keeps concerned parties regularly informed of the status of the case, to ensure a timely and accurate handling of the case in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
May directly lead an investigation with oversight.
Work with the HR Business Partner and In-house Employment Counsel, summarize the findings of the investigation, and present findings to the Sr. Director of Teammate Relations for resolution.
Support business units that require additional HR support to align to goals, increase leadership capabilities, change management efforts or change in strategic direction.
Support the Investigative Review Board in identifying and analyzing teammate data/metrics for themes, trends, and root cause identification. Assist in the development of an integrated plan that links to organization and people strategies, helping to advance the deliverables and priorities of the company.
Prepare investigative documentation, including interview notes and summary of findings.
Assists managers as needed in preparing corrective action documents and performance improvement plans, and preparing for employee conversations.
Draft and maintain policy procedures.
Remains current and informed in the field of Employee Relations in order to share knowledge and insights with others. Maintains knowledge of federal, state and local EEO and labor laws.
Qualifications:
Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing effective solutions to resolve problems.
Experience with analyzing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
Advanced level skill in Microsoft Office Suite.
Willing to travel as appropriate.
Displays empathy and courtesy. Cultivates a high level of trust with all stakeholders
Knowledge of federal, state and local employment (EEO) and labor laws.
Education and/or Experience: 
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years HR related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
