SUMMARY:
We are looking for a qualified, driven Staff Accountant to help support our Corporate Accounting team. The Staff Accountant will support the month end close process and will be responsible for analysis and reporting for the growing organization. This resource will also maintain and control general ledger accounts and ensure that transactions are accounted for in accordance with US GAAP. The staff accountant will report to the Manager, Accounting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations and journal entries
Assistance with the monthly, quarterly and annual global accounting close process, quarterly reviews and the annual audit
Ownership of accounting for cash, fixed assets, accounts payable and other balance sheet accounts
Support with quarterly and year-end financial statement audits
Ensuring that all financial deadlines are met for month-end, quarter-end and year-end financial closings
Partner with and assist the finance team in short-term and long-term budgeting and forecasting
Assisting with ad hoc analysis and reporting in support of Controllership
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of Public and/or Corporate Accounting experience
Accounting/Finance degree preferred
Fundamental knowledge of US GAAP is a must
QUALIFICATIONS:
CPA or CPA candidate preferred 
CRITICAL SKILLS:
Attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Knowledge or experience using SAP and Blackline preferred
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) required
