 Director, Global Athlete Performance Physiologist
Strategize and lead performance services that solve real problems for athletes, trainers, and coaches. Own and foster working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create and implement systems to assess, analyze and improve the way athletes train, compete, recover and live. Partner and collaborate with external partners, athletes, coaches, Academic Institutions and technology partners on a global basis to gain insight into performance enhancement and support future development of performance enhancing technology and application updates. Lead the execution of projects related to new technology or integration of existing technology on an open platform. Manage and coordinate with external partners to ensure they meet standards of research and performance and move projects through the innovation cycle. Partner with sports marketing and brand teams to add value to UA athletes and teams and ensure authentic messaging Lead, manage and inspire a team to support and execute against projects covering retail experiences and global events to bring to life a unique athletic experience to UA's focused performers.
Job Requirements:
Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Master’s degree in sports science, exercise science, or related field.
Ten (10) years of experience in professional sports.
Five (5) years of experience in professional sports in a head of performance role.  This experience may have been gained as part of the 10 years of experience in professional sports or in addition to that experience.
Additional experience must include: work with professional athletes; work in the health and fitness industry with general consumers; and work in multiple countries.
Required certifications include CSCS or UKSCA; NASM CES; and NASM PES.
25% domestic and international travel required.
