Summary:
The Sr. Manager, Global Corporate Events is responsible for supporting the strategic vision, planning, coordination and execution of all of UA’s global strategic internal & corporate events.  Building a foundation for a globally scalable structure and standards while maintaining and protecting our Brand Values. 
Responsibilities:
Support the development of UA’s global event strategic vision, scalable processes & KPI’s ensuring the alignment to Corporate Strategy and Brand Values; continuing to evaluate and improve historical key events & processes
Provide leadership to 3 direct reports through individual development and performance management; providing the strategic direction for their events, allowing them to execute flawless experiences.
Create, communicate and roll out a comprehensive DIY model, empowering and providing resources for internal teammates planning smaller scale events. Act as an advisor to departments globally, developing global standards that align to our Corporate Strategy and Brand Values.
Oversee the innovation and development of UA’s global internal events portfolio, ensuring the greatest impact on a global scale
Manage and oversee the onboarding and 3rd party contractors and vendors, collaborating with procurement to identify preferred partners in global HQ and other select strategic offices
Ensures that Corporate & internal events follow developed processes for data collection and evaluation process, in partnership with the Global Event Operations and Global External Events Team.  Communicating and elevating the results to the right stakeholders; mapping out plans in response.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Exhibits a passion for the field.
Displays, drive, determination and a self-disciplined approach to achieving results.
Strategically anticipates and solves problems quickly
Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills.
Comfortable negotiating with vendors/suppliers.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to interact with all levels of employees, customers, and C-Level executives while maintaining professionalism both via phone and email.
Direct management experience, and experience in hiring and building a team; balance strategic thinking with organization and detail–oriented skills
Must have the ability to travel, across the globe, on an as needed basis
