POSITION SUMMARY:
The PLM, Apparel - Team Sports Uniforms- Basketballrole will create and drive the long-term strategic vision and plan for Team Uniforms, with a sharp focus on building the most innovative, consumer-centric product in the industry.  Daily work will revolve around managing the full product life cycle - from seasonal strategy and line planning, through design and development process, to production and delivery.  In addition, research of markets and cross-functional collaboration (design, tech design, production, sports marketing, sales, etc.) will be expected to drive athlete needs and insights into commercialized assortments.  
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and manage the Basketball uniform business from concept to commercialization. This is inclusive of, but not limited to writing briefs, managing integrity of all data inputs, working collaboratively with design and tech design to bring product to market on time and at cost, etc.
Be the Consumer and sport expert – voice of the consumer.  Be the lead POV on category, influencing category direction as the product and consumer advocate.
Create the strategic vision and plan for the category.  Align on product needs required to service different and unique profit and promotional channels.
Define seasonal product assortment strategy and roadmap.  Actively contribute to overall long range product strategy with focus on line architecture, lifecycle management, and pricing strategies.   
Be the category lead and owner of the asset services (sports marketing) promo business. Manage and drive high visibility team uniform line architecture and assortments by compiling team specific needs analysis to provide design direction. Merchandise assortments to maximize visibility of innovation, design, and cost optimization.
Manage product, assortment, and pricing direction with third-party licensees by facilitating the relationships with product development and internal UA product creation teams.
Partner with innovation and materials & trims teams to test and validate uniform concepts.  Responsible for direction on wear testing concepts and maintaining material innovation pipeline for the category.
Act as the product detail lead for activation of uniforms on the online uniform customizer
Facilitate the data integrity and the system data load for the Basketball category on uniform builder
Build and deliver presentations at all relevant milestones

QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong presentation, time management, collaboration and influencing skills. Team Player Attitude
Required experience managing Full Product Life Cycle
Strong Presentation and Collaboration skills
Experience mining consumer insights & translating into product solutions
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 3 years of product line management – Uniforms experience highly preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Travel – 30-35%, including both domestic and international
