SUMMARY:
Under Armour is looking for a qualified, driven Procure to Pay Specialist. This is an opportunity to be part of a great success story, as Under Armour continues to impact the business like no other company has.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Communication and partnership with the Business Units, specifically Sports Marketing, FP&A and Strategic Procurement leads in order to be a part of strategic planning meetings and proactive process design
Become a subject matter expert of P2P processes and systems with the goal to understand each business unit and any challenges they have with managing operations and P2P activity
Collaboration with Global P2P KPI’s and metrics in order to identify additional opportunities for continuous improvement
Submit all contract requests for new sports marketing agreements, set up contracts for payment(s), handle bonus payouts in alignment with contractual agreement(s)
Approve milestone payments weekly. Create monthly forecast for Treasury and FP&A teams for guaranteed compensation for the following month
Create annual forecast for FP&A / Audit with guaranteed Sports Marketing compensation by quarter for all contracted assets
Submit/track invoices for all sports marketing athletes. Ensure all data is clean and accurate
Analyze and identify process improvement opportunities
Investigates and resolves problems associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders
Partner with Procurement to ensure the procurement process is properly followed by all business units
Collaborate with management in analyzing and implementing relevant strategies and policies to drive towards more business value
Partner with UA teammates to quickly resolve issues and to facilitate education of P2P processes
Ability to lead training of new employees on the current P2P process and system
Lead and support continuous improvement projects and process design relevant to role
Establish, develop and maintain effective cross functional working relationships to ensure an integrated contribution to the company's corporate objectives
Provide internal/external audit with requested documents or files
Assist with 1099 process to include reporting, filing and issuing B notices to vendors
Performs other duties as required to support Accounting and Finance Department
QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills, must be detail oriented
Ability to multi-task
Ability to follow up on pending issues and meet deadlines
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Candidate must have 1-3 years operational procurement, accounts payable or general accounting experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
SAP and Ariba experience preferred or other equivalent system experience. Proficient in Excel
