Purpose:  
The Sr. Analyst, Accounting and Controls will support accounting, finance and business owner teams with technical accounting support, Internal Controls guidance and process knowledge, while adhering to the Under Armour mission, vision and values.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Lead accounting for revenue for the Company’s North America Segment including revenue recognition, complex judgements and estimates, revenue dilution and coordination with the accounts receivable team
Build relationships with business partners within the North America business, including FP&A, Supply Chain, wholesale and retail among other teams;
Assist in the monthly, quarterly and annual global accounting close process, quarterly reviews and the annual audit
Lead, conduct and document process walkthroughs specific to the UA North America business, with a focus on internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 compliance.
Lead day-to-day business process activities in the performance and management of operational and control specific engagements, and management of special projects. 
Apply data analytic skills to support special projects, in addition to analyzing reporting needs for SOX and ICFR (Internal Controls over Fin’l Reporting) reporting.
Partner with management to identify specific controls risks, develop action plans and monitor completion.
Execute special projects such as process reengineering, root cause analysis for financial statement and operational control risks and business partner support for key UA initiatives.
Write clear, concise reports/documents to  document process and communicate key insights and observations to functional/business personnel and Senior leadership
Monitor and analyze workflow/responsibilities to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Effective communication skills
Job Requirement(s):
Ability to travel (domestic and international) – approximately  10 to 15 %
Technical Attributes of Ideal Candidate: include but are not limited to the following:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
3-5 years’ work experience in public or corporate accounting
Team player with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others outside of their direct-reporting lines
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and articulate ideas and actionable recommendations.
CPA required
Experience with SOX 404 compliance key activities, required
Experience with an advanced ERP system (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is preferred
Experience using Microsoft Visio , or a similar  flow charting tool,  is preferred
