SUMMARY: 
This role will be a US GAAP expert that will lead the implementation of formalized accounting policies and processes globally.  They will interpret local practices and regulations for the formalized policies and processes, as well as find alternatives for any limitations created by local practices and regulations.  This role will utilize their team of 2-3 senior accountants organized by region to meet needs driven by the Business, Accounting and Finance Teams within region.  This role will lead the project to create consistent allowance models, as well as become the expert at risks and opportunities globally.  This role will lead the Accounting function implementation within new entities.  This role will drive efficiencies and best practices for all accounting related functions.  This teammate will be a member of the Accounting Leadership function at Company headquarters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:include but are not limited to the following:
Implement the accounting function for go-live and market entries in new countries;
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles and ongoing assessment of standard and scalable Accounting & Finance processes/tools;
Partner with the regional and global accounting teams to ensure alignment between international growth strategies & corporate guardrails; 
Support US GAAP accounting and SOX initiatives around the globe;
Build relationships with the International Teams;
Monitor and analyze accounting data;
Assist in financial statement audits globally;
Maintain/govern the policy framework process, guidelines, tasks, checklists, templates, etc.;
Maintain the operating rhythm of the monthly, quarterly and annual Accounting close, including Blackline approvals and FMS research;
Responsible for communication plans up, down and across the matrix organization
TECHNICAL ATTRIBUTES: include but are not limited to the following:
Bachelor’s Degree
7-9 years’ work experience in accounting and/or finance, financial consulting with strong project management skills, in a high-growth and dynamic operating environments
Team player with demonstrated ability to lead and influence others outside of their direct-reporting lines
Ability to communicate effectively, articulate ideas and actionable recommendations to all levels.
Comfortable with language barriers or constraints; bilingual language skills are a plus
