The Lead, Global Consumer Engagement reports to the Sr. Director, Personalization and is responsible for the design of contact strategies and consumer journeys (inclusive of content, contact, and offer). This role works closely with Under Armour’s CRM, Loyalty and Regional marketing’s teams leading work streams to rapidly elevate personalized journeys, agile testing, and product optimizations. Ultimately, this highly regarded role is bringing to life the strategic vision of the Personalization Team.
We are looking for a star performer to develop robust cross-channel consumer engagement experiences that accelerate growth and optimize the experience among our many consumer bases. This person should have prior experience running CRM and/or paid media campaigns and have a deep understanding of audience management including activation, creation and measurement – this position is a blend of a data driven marketer, brilliant communicator, and passionate consumer advocate.
Define and deliver strategic consumer journey maps that consider an array of communication contacts and channels (wholesale, owned retail, ecom, connected fitness, shop app)
Collaborate with internal team to implement Personalization roadmap utilizing available (and future) technologies such as Salesforce and Segment–allowing for alignment and enablement of cross-functional partners and teams to ensure consistent dialogue with Under Armour consumers
Champion customer data capture across DTC globally (including marketing, site, store, operations and technology teams)
Partner with internal stakeholders to implement and execute on testing roadmap while implementing standardized program measurement tactics; collaborate with internal teams to track program success against personalization goal hierarchy; sharing results with the broader UA team
Develop global marketing campaigns and personalization testing strategies that span across owned and paid marketing channels; ensure the alignment of program performance against testing roadmap
Develop and implement personalization measurement plans tied to consumer journeys and oversee campaign delivery
Partner with product and creative designers to facilitate content development and the creation of consumer journey experiences
Lead content brief development for creation of assets to execute consumer journey strategies
Manage 3rd party agencies to execute components of the various cross-channel campaigns
Partner with Data Analytics teams to define key metrics and to develop learning plans to inform consumer journeys and contact strategies
Collaborate with Under Armour and Connected Fitness Product teams to define product value and influence product roadmap and feature rollout. Effectively communicate product value to consumers by creating a product experience that consumers love and drives growth and harvests brand loyalty.
Collaborate across all Digital team functions to define behavioral segments and use data to develop a deep understanding of our consumers, their lifecycles, and foster brand loyalty.

Comfortable working with and can communicate effectively across Data, Marketing and IT functions
Deep understanding of marketing strategy and tactics with a proven track record for delivering value and measuring contribution to business goals/objectives
Thorough knowledge of CRM, audience management and data/audience activation
Experience with digital analytics (A/B, Multivariate testing, site and media measurement)
Digital marketing experience in programmatic advertising, online advertising campaigns CRM onboarding
Experience designing and executing digital campaigns across channels (traditional, display, email, mobile)
Experience with Marketing Automation tools (SFMC preferred)
Experience working with data platforms and reporting tools
Knowledge of industry rules and regulations, including CAN-SPAM and GDPR is a plus
Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions and then implement those solutions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized and detail oriented with proven ability to manage multiple projects and juggle competing priorities and deadlines
Works well under tight deadlines and constantly changing high-growth environment
You don’t take yourself too seriously but still have a strong work ethic, are self-motivated, and hold yourself accountable
8+ years of CRM, digital media/marketing experience preferred
