Summary
Under Armour is in need of a dynamic a strategic thinker, who will set strategy in partnership with SVP, of Sports marketing to drive, develop and ensure execution of Under Armour’s global asset management strategy - encompassing acquisition, retention, measurement and ROI to drive value and acceptable returns. This position will also collaborate with legal, finance and senior leadership on global asset opportunities, including due diligence efforts and investment assessments. This person will work with closely with cross-functional leadership, specifically the Regional marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to key strategic initiatives for Sport Asset Management; responsibilities may include program management, consumer insights, problem solving, and analytical support
Lead and set strategy for the Sports Marketing Asset Management Investment Process, across several initiatives including Athlete portfolio, Team and league partnerships.
Actively identify new areas of opportunity that drive global scalability; work with team to prepare written analysis and recommendations regarding acquisition strategies and overall portfolio benefits
Provide pre-acquisition input and assistance throughout acquisition due diligence process, including review of financial and operational assumptions, and develop model for full life cycle financial analysis for each asset from acquisition - identifying most advantageous strategy for utilization
Develop and implement a methodology to assess and rank performance of each investment to drive investment and/or disposition decision making
Lead coordination of post-acquisition activities and integration of asset into Under Armour’s sport asset global portfolio
Monitor portfolio performance
Refresh, develop and maintain a network of industry relationships to stay current on regional and local market trends.
Lead strategy and efforts for partnership negotiations
Work closely with senior leadership – inclusive of Regional Market leadership and SVP of Sports Marketing in additional to strong partnership with Finance and Legal
This role is accountable to clear direction, management of the process, providing feedback and measuring performance.  This role is a leadership role with coaching, training and guidance.

Qualifications:
Strong strategic thinking and end-to-end problem-solving skills, including an ability to structure problems, execute analysis, and communicate findings
Strong leadership capabilities
Ability to balance multiple demands and thrive in a project-based, collaborative team environment
Ability to apply fundamental consumer insights into action
Strong executive presence, business judgement, and maturity
Ability to build positive relationships across Asset Management and key business partners
Deep interest in and knowledge of the Sports industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Global experience a must
7-10 years of relevant Sports Marketing experience in fast-paced, product-oriented, consumer-driven company.
