Senior Lead, Solutions Architect
Leverage technology to drive, operate, and support distribution systems. Design and support system solutions. Work with solution and domain architects and support teams to develop detailed system landscapes and technical solutions including security, data accessibility, technical and functional capabilities, and system monitoring. Author, edit, and present both technical and functional design specifications. Develop comprehensive requirement specifications that will allow for the estimation of cost, time and resources to successfully deploy solutions. Identify and prioritize business requirements and the supporting business case. Assist in the design and technical specification of custom software components, enhancements or customizations. Produce conceptual and logical solution designs. Assist with scope, issues resolution, and risk management. Highlight gaps in existing functionality and provide viable solutions.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
2. Five (5) years of progressive experience in WMS Design and Solution Development
3. Five (5) years of experience designing or supporting Manhattan WMi solutions, which may have been gained as part of or in addition to the WMS Design and Solution Development experience.
4. Additional experience must include: designing or supporting Dematic WCS solutions; IBM RPG and SQL; developing and deploying system solution(s) to a production environment; participation in multiple WMS conversions or new start-ups in a technical capacity; WMS integration with Parcel Carrier Solution (FedEx, UPS, USPS); participation in inventory reconciliation between two systems (ERP, WMS, WCS, etc.); and Apparel/Footwear distribution.
5. Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
