POSITION SUMMARY
Support accounting and finance teams in our Global Offices by leading the implementation of formalized policies, as well as providing technical knowledge, while adhering to the main pillars of Under Armour:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
Assist with monthly consolidations
Preparation of various balance sheet account reconciliations
Preparation of various standard and non-standard journal entries as part of the month-end close process
Ownership of accounting for balance sheet accounts
Support with quarterly and year-end financial statement audits across the globe
Ensure that all financial deadlines are met for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closings
Partner with and assist the finance team in short-term and long-term budgeting and forecasting
Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting in support of Controllership
Assist with investigating non-eliminating I/C balances and activity
Support the Sr Manager, Global Accounting with non-recurring accounting matters
Aggregate Regional IT requests and support key systematic enhancements
Develop relationships and work closely with business partners in the countries in order to provide accounting and business support
Research and document key accounting transactions through technical accounting memorandums
Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley self-assessment testing
Provide support to Global internal and external audit activities including providing deliverables
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
Ability to communicate effectively, articulate ideas, and actionable recommendations to all levels
Comfortable with language barriers or constraints; bilingual language skills are a plus
Ability to work effectively in teams and with cross functional partners
Attention to detail resulting in consistent, reliable, and accurate work product
Strong written and oral communication skills
Flexible, adaptable, and proactive
Solid analytical skills, with ability to prioritize
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years of Public and/or Corporate Accounting experience
Accounting/Finance degree preferred
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
 Proficient in PC applications (e.g. Excel, Microsoft Office)
Fundamental knowledge of US GAAP is a must
