Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX: As the Senior Brand Communications Manager, you are responsible for designing and delivering our global external communications strategy. Our approach is constantly evolving, to stay ahead of the dynamic and changing media landscape. You will work with the team to identify resonant storytelling opportunities that inspire new audiences and reinforce our commitment to the core mountain athlete. You lead North America communications as well as agency relationships and ensure global agency alignment. You are obsessed with authentically growing our brand voice in earned media, amplifying our design and product innovation storytelling, and establishing Arc’teryx as the pinnacle outdoor brand. Please note this is a temporary role until April 2023, with the possibility for extension. If you were the Senior Brand Communications Manager now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Delivering a communications strategy to drive innovation and brand storytelling, establishing brand awareness, identity, and protecting reputational integrity ! Coordinating global communications agency support, allocating resources in alignment with business and communications goals ! Leading and managing global communications planning, including the creation and maintenance of a global calendar ! Ensuring consistent implementation of existing communications documents that govern high-visibility communication channels (i.e. website, leadership bios, speaker presentations, company FAQ, media kit, boilerplate etc.) ! Ensuring and supporting spokesperson readiness and media training ! Providing strategic and tactical communications support on manufacturing, sustainability, and retail campaigns / events ! Planning for and representing Arc’teryx at media events, for seasonal moments, at athlete events and our Academy events ! Managing our online media newsroom and responding to media inquiries ! Creating and delivering quarterly and post-campaign reporting. Establishing meaningful KPIs; delivering relevant reports to internal stakeholders to socialize work and influence thinking ! Leading issues management for select frontline facing channels: Customer Service, Retail, LEAF, social Are you our next Senior Brand Communications Manager? ! You have demonstrated success developing and delivering strategic communications plans and implementing infrastructure to meet challenging objectives ! You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills ! You have experience working and leading people and projects in a multi-cultural and multi-functional (product, sales, and marketing) environment ! You are results-oriented and proven able to meet deadlines in a project management role with competing priorities ! You have a proven track record in crisis communications management, as well as employee communications ! You have a keen eye for emerging communications and digital social trends, a passion for the outdoors and an enthusiastic approach to evolving and improving existing brand awareness strategies ! You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right ! Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it ! You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Communications, Public Relations or a related field !
