Your opportunity at ARC’TERYX:As the Director of Sourcing, you will optimize the engagement with our supply chain partners and lead a team of expert in delivering our product on time and at a competitive cost. You will build and manage our global network of manufacturing partners to ensure we have the supplier capacity and capability to drive our business objectives. You will partner internally with Design, Product Development, Raw Materials, Quality, Product Sourcing and Supply Planning, and Sustainability as well as externally with our vendor partners to execute our strategy.Is this job open to relocation? Building and guiding a high performing Sourcing team with the core competencies and capabilities in delivering a world class supply chain! Owning our relationship with our suppliers through direct engagement, collaboration, and partnership! Developing and overseeing the execution of our global sourcing strategy to ensure we have the manufacturing capacity and capability to drive our business growth and delivers on cost, quality, and speed to market needs! Leading the seasonal planning and commercialization process: product/vendor allocations, product development efficiency, and end-to-end costing! Managing the supplier network with the right balance of country, capacity, and capability, in order to reduce long-term risk and mitigation! Leading the search for new suppliers with a robust qualification framework; partnering with Design, Product Creation Development, Quality, Product Sourcing and Supply Planning for a 360-degree evaluation! Overseeing the onboarding of new suppliers to ensure a successful integration ! Managing and safeguarding the terms and conditions of our supplier agreement! Leading continuous supply chain improvement by maintaining a supplier scorecard that captures areas of performance including product innovation, development, lead time, costs, compliance, sustainability, and partnership! Partnering with Advanced Concepts and Inline Design teams to ensure we have the right capability to deliver product concept and innovation! Collaborating cross-functionally as a key member of our product leadership team Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:! Developing a robust and effective network assessment tool that assures the long-term availability of product! Building a capacity planning process along with transparent costing methodology to optimize our product engine! Designing a supplier onboarding program that enables new partners to learn and adopt our processes and standards from day one! Proposing and developing long term strategy in building a world class supply chain! Building a talent pipeline and creating career development opportunities that inspire and challenge the teamAre you our next Director, Sourcing?! You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Apparel or Textile Design, Technology, Merchandising, or Engineering, along with 10+ years of leadership experience in sourcing and supply chain! You have a strong knowledge of supply chain and logistics! You have a knowledge of the end-to-end apparel development process ! You have proven skills at problem solving, interpreting design intent and product innovation! You have proven performance history with domestic and offshore vendors and manufacturers! You have strong communication and influencing skills! You have extreme attention to detail! You have an extensive knowledge of raw materials, technical construction, and sourcing!
