Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:The Omni-channel Architect supports the design and implementation of digital systems across our brand, to enable rich and coordinated customer experiences across all touch points and facilitate smooth and rapid evolution. In this role you will be responsible for developing system roadmaps that enable and support the growth of the company. You will ensure we have optimal coordination and design of our systems to empower both our customers and our internal teams. Meet Your Future Team:The Omni-channel Information Systems team is responsible for building and maintaining all of our digital systems that support the brand experience and commerce. We are responsible for, but not limited to, ecommerce, customer relationship management, customer analytics and data, guest services, retail digital systems, and after-sales support. The team works closely and collaboratively with many teams including enterprise information systems, Retail, Commercial, Brand and Marketing Operations.Is this job open to relocation? NoWill there be Visa support? NoCan this job be hired remote? HybridIf you were the Omni-channel Architect now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Providing and accountable for the technical direction that is in alignment with our overall architecture strategy for our ecommerce and retail platforms enabling true Omnichannel commerce experiences! Ensuring the design of the product solutions are cost effective, compliant, scalable and maintainable through the agile development lifecycle! Providing accurate high level project estimates and multiple solution options for effective business decisions (and assist in articulating to non-technical stakeholders)! Staying abreast, exploring, evaluating and recommending tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality solutions are delivered! Collaborating with multiple project teams, vendors and their members to design, develop and execute solutions to address business issues specific to the Omni-Channel domain, delivering solid documentation. Ensure our team is well prepared, informed and equipped to support internal and external users of our systems.Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:! Partnering with our Infrastructure team to define and support a continuous evolution of best practices for, but not limited to, cloud computing and infrastructure design! Working on and integrating with best of breed Omni-Channel tools and solutions! Defining best practices, processes and tools with regards to Omni-Channel architecture, software development and software maintenanceAre you our next Omni-channel Architect?! You have overall 3+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on delivering E-commerce, Marketing and or Retail solutions! You have 7+ years of work experience in IT with a good breadth of knowledge of across many business domains! You have strong experience with cloud compute platforms (especially AWS)! You have experience with automated software build, test, and deployment systems and tools! You have strong experience with complex relational data schemas and relational database systems! You have experience with modern web development frameworks and tools (especially React)! You have experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (especially SAP)! You have experience with modern distributed systems (SOA/Microservices) and a good understanding of the tools and techniques supporting those ecosystems (e.g. Enterprise Service Bus)! You are able to see trends and encourage alignment across distributed projects, teams, and goals! You are a strong collaborator who is able to work with individuals from a variety of business areas and technical levels! You are a team player and have experience working with cross-functional teams! You are a proactive self-starter that can work effectively independently! You are innovative and creative, with a logical and methodical approach to problem solving! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing creative solutions! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You are able to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline driven environment!
