Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:As the Sourcing Specialist, you work with a team of highly qualified sourcing, quality, and raw materials professionals in the Arc’teryx Hong Kong Sourcing Office. You will partner with Arcteryx Head Office teams and vendor partners to strive for fulfilment of our business objectives. You will be working with a well-developed base of highly professional long term vendor partners, always looking for creative solutions and processes to improve speed, optimize cost, support margin, and best utilize supply chain capabilities and efficiencies.   Meet Your Future Team: We are a small but highly versatile team of problem solvers and process makers, driving collaborative partnership between Arc’teryx Headquarters, our vendors, and the Hong Kong Sourcing Office team. We support the building and execution of a sustainable global sourcing strategy that enables us to deliver exceptional product at the right place, with the right quality and cost, and on-time. You will partner internally with Design, Product, Quality, Compliance, Supply Chain, Sustainability as well as externally with our vendor partners to identify and fulfill the sourcing needs of the company and deliver all product developed, commercialized, and manufactured by our vendors.Is this job open to relocation? NoWill there be Visa support? NoCan this job be hired remote? NoIf you were the Sourcing Specialist for Arcteryx Hong Kong Sourcing Office now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Supporting the Sourcing manager to drive partnership with our vendors to deliver best-in-class performance! Researching and assessing new vendors to support the business and capacity growth and driving continuous improvement! Owning vendor development and relationship building with stakeholders! Owning the onboarding and training of new vendors and continuously building capabilities throughout the entire vendor base! Providing support to the Sustainability team on compliance and ESG management! Working closely with vendor partners to support product development and margin improvementsAre you our next Sourcing Specialist for the Arcteryx Hong Kong Sourcing Office?! You have a degree in Merchandising/Business Management or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience! You have 5+ years’ experience in apparel sourcing or merchandising in a global company! You have strong interpersonal skills and can work effectively with internal and external stakeholders of diverse cultural backgrounds! You have expertise in negotiation, problem solving and multi-tasking! You are assertive and have a high level of self-initiative! You are fluent in English and have strong verbal and written communication skills !
