Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:As the Sustainability Business Partner – Supply Chain, your primary focus will be on translating the sustainability strategy into action within our supply chain. You will be the go-to sustainability resource for our Arc’teryx supply chain colleagues, building understanding, collaborating, and offering training where needed to deliver meaningful progress through effective partnership. You will also act as the primary Arc’teryx sustainability point person for our external supply chain partners, and you will engage them in establishing roadmaps, tracking their progress, and supporting them in removing obstacles and capacity building. You will represent supply chain sustainability on internal communications and reporting, identifying, tracking and holding the business accountable to key supply chain sustainability KPIs. This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work.  Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. Meet Your Future Team: Our Sustainability team is small, mighty and integrated into business functions for the highest impact. We work from within our own team of Product as well as with key partners and teams throughout the organization and our parent company to integrate sustainability policies, behaviors, metrics and tools into how we do business.If you were the Sustainability Business Partner – Supply Chain now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Collaborating with our parent company, Arc’teryx Sustainability Director and supply chain leadership to drive progress on large, multi-year initiatives (for example Fair Labour Association accreditation, Fair Trade Certified products, UN Fashion Charter climate roadmaps, etc)! Supporting Arc’teryx supply chain leadership by providing guidance, policy and process on sustainability matters that will enable effective business decisions! Building tools to engage, inspire, and build capacity across our supply chain partners in alignment with our sustainability targets.! Developing and delivering in-person and remote training and support to our supply chain partners on Arc’teryx’s social + environmental sustainability expectations and opportunities! Establishing and monitoring KPIs and evaluating program success and ongoing improvement.! Ensuring understanding of our environmental + social sustainability goals, objectives and KPIs within our sourcing teams and connecting that to our supplier relationships.! Connecting with the industry sustainability community for inspiration and collaboration opportunities.! Supporting brand and employee communications and transparency initiatives that relate to supply chain initiatives and progress.! Working cross-functionally across the brand and within our parent company organization to support integration and efficient use of resources to meet our strategy with speed and efficiency.  ! Identifying and ensuring we have the right tools in place to support effective and efficient program management.Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:! Contributing to the development and execution of our climate roadmap within the scope of supply chain.! Traveling to deliver in-person training programs! Rolling out programs in support of our worker well-being strategyAre you our next Sustainability Business Partner – Supply Chain?! You have an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in sustainability and/or human rights, environmental science, or other relevant sustainability topics. ! You have 3+ years of experience working in supply chain, communicating/training on sustainability topics, and/or in the apparel industry ! You are a sustainability generalist, with an excellent grasp across the breadth of social and environmental sustainability topics.! You are familiar with apparel supply chains, manufacturing processes, and related environmental and social impacts.! You have proven experience in communications and/or training and are skilled at simplifying complex topics and tailoring your message to your audience.! You have experience with complex projects, coordinating multi-stakeholder interests and cross-functional teams ! You have proven experience working effectively across geographical regions and cultures in a teaching, training, or facilitation role! You are humble, compassionate and optimistic. ! You are able to navigate a complex, matrixed business organization with a highly collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.! You have experience with environmental metrics and regulatory frameworks  !
