Department: Business ExcellenceReports to: Manager, Retail Training ProgramsLocation: North Vancouver, BCYour Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:As the Retail Training Content Specialist, you are responsible for the successful design and creation of learning and development experiences that drive organizational performance across all Arc’teryx Retail teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to create engaging and best-in-class learning experiences that expedite time to readiness, unleash performance, and can be scaled across the globe. You thrive in an agile environment and can balance multiple projects at once. You are connected to life in retail and can foresee barriers and opportunities with implementing new training, you bring solutions and appropriate recommendations to solve anticipated learning needs.  This role is primarily based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work.  Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.  Meet Your Future Team:Your role is to work with the leaders in the Retail Training team to build scalable, accessible, and engaging content. The Retail Training team, a part of our Business Excellence team, is in service of the business supporting our scalable store growth and achievement of our goals. Retail Training creates best-in-class learning programs, supports implementation training, and delivers training that enables our business to operate effectively and scale for the future. You will be supporting with creating training to unleash our retail teams’ potential and build a high-performance culture.Is this job open to relocation support? NoWill there be Visa support? NoCan this job be hired remote? NoIf you were the Retail Training Content Specialist now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:! Supporting the Retail Training leadership team in developing a training roadmap  ! Developing standards for content creation aligned to Instructional Design and Adult learning principles! Developing multi-medium learning offerings to best suit the needs of our retail audiences and enable scalability (E-learning, face-to-face learning, etc.)! Partnering with business and project teams (project managers, SME’s and BA's) to assess requirements and determine learning objectives and content ! Working cross-functionally to establish best practices and quality standards for the governance of the LMS and the content that is uploaded to the LMS (retail specific content)! Managing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating complex learning solutions, using multiple tools and methodologies to meet business objectives! Continuously improving learning programs based on evaluation feedback ! Remaining current on learning and development trends and providing recommendations for ongoing improvements and championing innovation! Utilizing instructional design methodology and adult learning principles (in conjunction with our retail teams’ needs) to build training that supports high performance and business growth! Building interactive and engaging blended learning courses for our Retail Training ProgramsHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:! Collaborating with members of the retail training team and cross-functional partners to identify training needs and proposing innovative learning solutions! Working cross-functionally with subject matter experts at our Head Office and across our retail teams to build out training content! Building and executing an evaluation strategy for our Retail Training ProgramsAre you our next Content Specialist for Retail Training?! You have a Bachelor’s degree in education, organizational behaviour, human resources or a related field ! You have 3+ years’ experience in corporate training and training design in the retail industry ! You have experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS)! You have end-to-end course development experience ! You are passionate about quality learning and the impact it creates for retail employee experiences.! You have excellent interpersonal skills, and a demonstrated ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization! You have excellent communication skills! You can multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage priorities working in a fast-paced environment! You have excellent project management skills! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You can balance autonomy and collaboration! You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right !
