Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX: The Director, Finance Transformation and Optimization will lead the evolution of the Finance department in developing the capabilities, processes and systems to scale and grow in support of Arc’teryx’s journey as a vertical business. This role will work closely with the Finance leadership team to develop the roadmap and oversee the implementation plan, including short-term and long-term initiatives.    This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.   Meet Your Future Team:  The Arc’teryx Finance team supports all parts of the business across, accounting, reporting, planning, analytics, operational finance and procurement.  The Finance team collaborates across multiple disciplines to provide strategic and insightful business partnership to enable effective decision-making throughout the organization. The Director, Finance Transformation and Optimization reports into the CFO and works in close partnership with the Finance leadership team.  If you were the Director, Finance Transformation & Optimization now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing: ! Leading the finance transformation program, developing and implementing initiatives to optimize finance processes, systems, data, and enhance controls ! Working with finance leadership to map out our long-term roadmap across people, process and systems ! Developing the plan for how Arc’teryx builds new vertical finance capabilities  ! Facilitating, identifying and planning process changes across the broader finance team to create efficiency and clear accountabilities  ! Establishing and prioritizing the key workstreams needed to enhance SAP for finance  ! Working with the Accounting team on best practices to shorten our close cycle  ! Ensuring Finance representation is well integrated in other cross-functional systems and process initiatives ! Mapping out and implementing the appropriate corporate and entity structure set up to enable Arc’teryx’s omni-channel strategies ! Overseeing the implementation of a new payroll system ! Helping to improve efficiencies in reporting, costing and cross-business charges ! Collaborating with Amer Sports Group Finance as required to drive brand and group finance process improvement initiatives ! Developing and maintaining a robust program management framework to ensure the successful delivery of initiatives ! Providing thought leadership, best practices and subject matter expertise in finance transformation and business process optimization  ! Partnering closely with other cross-functional partners to ensure finance input is well incorporated into broader company initiatives ! Improving overall financial reporting quality for Arc’teryx through business process efficiencies ! Growing, developing, and leading a team of Finance professionals  Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future: ! Finance business process synchronization with international regions ! Strategic finance and integration initiatives  Are you our next Director, Finance Transformation & Optimization? ! You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting or Finance  ! You have a Professional CPA designation or similar ! You have a minimum of 8 to 12+ years of relevant professional experience in this field of work  ! You have deep understanding of finance systems and business processes ! You have experience in consulting and/or finance transformation, or have deep knowledge running a function or full-cycle process within finance    ! You are skilled at change management with experience in leading change through large scale initiatives across people, process, technology, and have the ability to effectively communicate change to key stakeholders    ! You have strong strategic and analytical skills   ! You have a deep understanding of the finance industry and emerging trends in order to identify best practices and innovative approaches ! You preferably have experience with Oracle products (EPM, FCSS, PBCS) and/or SAP products (S4 Hana)  ! You are a strong communicator that can engage other leaders and cross-functional partners in key discussions and are able to communicate complex problems in a simple manner ! You have a proven track record in building relationships, establishing rapport, credibility and trust! You have strong facilitation and problem-solving skills to drive alignment and innovative solutions !
