As the Vice-President, People & Culture, you provide a world class vision and leadership to the Arc’teryx business, organization, and to the People & Culture teams. You define and lead the execution of the Arc’teryx People and Culture strategy. Your enthusiasm, courage and motivation to create an environment for people to perform at their best is critical to the success of Arc’teryx. You believe that stewarding inclusivity and diversity fuels a culture of growth and innovation across the company.  As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you drive the continuous evolution of people and leadership practices to design a culture that generates high performance teams, strengths-based coaching and values-based leadership. You partner with the Amer Sports Global Functions, especially Human Resources, and Go-To-Market (GTM) to ensure the continued development, alignment, and implementation of group and brand practices, policies, and programs. Key responsibilities and accountabilities: • You lead and influence at the executive level in defining Arc’teryx’s long-term strategy, ensuring the Arc’teryx People and Culture KPIs, priorities and roadmap supports global business goals and drives sustainable growth • You make strategic and creative recommendations on effective and sustainable organizational design changes that helps deliver the growth acceleration strategy and agility • You oversee the development and implementation of capability and talent plans that are aligned with long term strategic goals and company values and ensure that Arc’teryx has a sustainable pipeline of talent to support these goals and values • You act as the cultural leader of the organization, fostering trust and transparency throughout the company and acting as an ambassador of Arc’teryx’s core values and behaviors • You design and lead data informed initiatives to address employee engagement and make recommendations for investments where needed in the business to elevate and sustain • You define and direct forward-thinking people metrics, leading the identification and reporting of trends to provide recommendations to the President, the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and Amer Sports Global HR • You provide confidential guidance and coaching to the SLT around talent and performance management, policies and practices • You build, develop, and coach high performing People and Culture teams to deliver against the business objectives, purpose and vision • You partner with the Amer Sports Global Functions, , to influence global programs, systems and resources to meet Arc’teryx business needs • You lead the Amer Sports annual Organization & Performance processes for Arc’teryx, including both annual business strategy planning and the annual performance review and objective setting process • You serve as a member of the Amer Sports HR Board and participate in aligning common priorities, systems and processes; you represent Arc’teryx business requirements to the board and lead implementation of common priorities, programs, policies • You lead the Offices Services function, the future of how/where we work and our physical spaces that supports the company’s growth plans and employee needs • You ensure that facilities are compliant with local legislation creating a healthy and safe work environment for all Arc’teryx employees Additional experience, education and/or skills required: • You have a Degree in Business Administration or Human Resource Management., along with +10 years of senior HR leadership experience within an international, ideally global, organization • You have demonstrated results as an HR leader in a high growth, omni channel, retail or apparel company • You have experience and demonstrated results in organizational design, capability building, talent acquisition and performance management • You possess strong business acumen and a commitment to an exceptional employee experience • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement • You are strategic and solutions focused with a simple and practical approach to execution • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues, seeking the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with an unwavering commitment to do what is right • You create collaborative relationships within the company across all disciplines • You have superior coaching skills, with extensive experience coaching senior leaders • You possess strong presentation and communication (both written and verbal) skills • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it.
