Retail Operations Specialist -Store Openings Job in North Vancouver, BC

As the Retail Operations Specialist for Store Openings, you will project manage all aspects related to store openings. Through a series of weekly meetings. you ensure all stores open on time, fully staffed, ready to create amazing in-store experiences for our customers. You collaborate with store design, construction, and all retail functions. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:! Implement a detailed store opening plan for each new store and stores under renovation. ! Ensure all items on the ‘store opening’ task list are completed on time.! Support the business by setting up permits, licenses, and misc. accounts required for a smooth store opening. ! Work closely with store manager ensuring they feel confident, prepared, and have all the tools required to operate the store. ! After every project, you collect feedback, celebrate the wins, and document ways to improve our processes. ! Assist with other retail operations projects as needed in the following areas: Logistics & Inventory, Retail Support, HR, Communications, IT & SAP, Training, Events, etc.  Additional experience, education and/or skills required:! You have demonstrated ability to juggle many projects and priorities.! You are very detailed oriented, with a focus on documenting processes.! You have experience working with Smartsheet and/or other project management tools.  ! You have at least 1 year experience in an equivalent role and 1 year as Store Manager or 2 years as Assistant Store Manager.! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration! You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement!
