As the Retail Operations Specialist for Store Openings, you will project manage all aspects related to store openings. Through a series of weekly meetings. you ensure all stores open on time, fully staffed, ready to create amazing in-store experiences for our customers. You collaborate with store design, construction, and all retail functions. Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
⏵ Implement a detailed store opening plan for each new store and stores under renovation.
⏵ Ensure all items on the ‘store opening’ task list are completed on time.
⏵ Support the business by setting up permits, licenses, and misc. accounts required for a smooth store opening.
⏵ Work closely with store manager ensuring they feel confident, prepared, and have all the tools required to operate the store.
⏵ After every project, you collect feedback, celebrate the wins, and document ways to improve our processes.
⏵ Assist with other retail operations projects as needed in the following areas: Logistics & Inventory, Retail Support, HR, Communications, IT & SAP, Training, Events, etc. Additional experience, education and/or skills required:
⏵ You have demonstrated ability to juggle many projects and priorities.
⏵ You are very detailed oriented, with a focus on documenting processes.
⏵ You have experience working with Smartsheet and/or other project management tools.
⏵ You have at least 1 year experience in an equivalent role and 1 year as Store Manager or 2 years as Assistant Store Manager.
