About the job

As an Environmental Designer, you will collaborate with the creative team to develop brand and seasonal campaigns into innovative retail + experience concepts. Your strong understanding of graphic design, architecture, physical experiences,and the retail landscape enables you to connect the consumer to our brand and our product through premium executions. You’re a team player with passion, curiosity and a continuous drive to explore and evolve the brand via design.Key responsibilities and accountabilities: ! Work with the Manager, Enviromental Design, Creative Services team, Retail Design team,Retail Brand Experience and/or the Creative Agency to create global seasonal retail directives for both brand and campaign.! Work with Lead, Retail Design Manager and Retail Brand Experience to develop and adapt retail concepts for all channels (brand stores, partner stores, factory outlets, shop in shop, tradeshow, etc…) ! Create 3D executions/experiences and translate 3D concepts into 2D mock-ups that facilitate comprehension to stakeholders and are realistic in cost against a budget! Research and help to execute full scope of design work from concept to output for each project! Prepare retail directives, concepts, layouts, and mock-ups as needed for projects using Adobe CC Suite and/ortraditional tools, multimedia software and 3D image processing software! Provide design guidance and consultation for all retail initiatives! Meticulously maintain visual hierarchy, consistent typography, brand standards, appropriate seasonal tone, spelling, and version control across multiple projects! Effectively communicate our brand through conceptualizing and producing graphic art and visual materials for retail that adheres to brand standards! Research new market trends, innovative materials and processes related to retail! Work with Marketing Operations to track time to and meet time sensitive deadlines! Work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support all areas of Marketing with graphic design needs! Support other design and production activities as assignedAdditional experience, education and/or skills:! Degree or diploma in Graphic Arts, Architecture, Industrial Design, Design. ! 3+ years of either/all Environemntal Design, Architectural Design, Graphic Design, or related work experience! Excellent design and verbal/visual communication skills ! Excellent ability to create, understand and translate 3D concepts into 2D mock-ups! Experience with both Mac and PC platforms! Proficient in Adobe CC Suite, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Smartsheet and MS Office! Proof-read text in English to a very high standard! Strong knowledge of current retail landscape and the latest trends and innovations! Strong ability to drive work to ensure deadlines are met! Strong organization skills ! Detail oriented with a meticulous eye for visual consistency! Driven to problem solve and open to learn! You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions! You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity! You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration! You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement! Degree or other courses related to Architecture, Business, Communications, Fine Arts and/or Marketing! Retail fixture design! Knowledgeable in material specification and construction methods!
